Title : after convicted with crime, a criminal normally would be either sentenced to imprisonment or fined for his/she action. Some country on the other hand, sentence criminal to rehabilitation. In your opinion, what is the best ways to curb crime

Agree punishment
1 criminal would regret of his/ her action
a) Their regret for wasting time in prison
b) Their regret for wasting money because of their action

2 guarantee safety
a) For society / community
b) For criminals .

Criminal litigate is a prudent process to come up with the most justice punishment for the criminals. Meanwhile, in some country their sentence criminals with rehabilitation, which is not, the best option to curb crime. Their reasons are is a part of human right and mercy on the criminals. This is wrong and it bring more disadvantage than advantage.
Therefore, imprisonment and fined are still the best ways to curb crimes.

Firstly, punishment is essential to bring up the feeling of regret to the criminals. Their regret for wasting time in the prison. As we already acknowledged that, a normal rehabilitation only takes about 6 to 12 month and it only in weekend rather than the actual imprisonment that takes more than 25 years.
On the other hand, criminals regret for the money used to pay fined. While in rehabilitation government will funded their behaviour modification. Therefore, criminal who been punish is more regretful and fear for committing crimes again than who been going to rehabilitation.

Secondly, imprisonment is important to guarantee safety for society and criminal itself. To assure society safety and prosperity is by separating criminal for society. Imprisonment also an act of preventing and avoiding for further crime commit by criminals. We also does not have enough cops to keep an eye on criminals all the time. Imprisonment also can secure criminals safety. There are probability that victims family or relatives will do violent to criminals as an act of revenge. Therefore, imprisonment essential to guarantee society and criminals safety.

In conclusion, physical and money punishment are the best ways to overcome crime problem. Maybe rehabilitation is more democratic and protected human right but protected innocent peoples are more important than criminals are. Therefore, rehabilitation can only be apply to light mandatory crimes such as pickpocket, blackmail and smuggle.

BOOKS VS EXPERIENCE

BOOKS VS EXPERIENCE

The progression from secondary school to college is an exciting journey. Students are face a typical competency among their own to allow being in tertiary education. One of the learning tools is by reading books. There are some objection said, “Not everything is learned is contained in book”. I believe that books are still the best platforms for learning.

Firstly, learning by books is easy and independent. We already acknowledged that books are mobile which means it is light, easy to carry and small. Other than that, books are independent tools for learning. We do not need teacher’s assistance to learn and study the books. We need only ability to read and understand to know the content of a book. Compare to experience knowledge who needs full demonstration from the expert to do the practical.

Secondly, content of a book compare to experience. Books contain a lot of detail and easy explanation to help the reader to understand better. The content of books are specific and trustable due to statistics and graph studied by the author also the author provided reference to show the information are correct. Furthermore, most of books been written by famous and intelligent authors who educated and prosperous person who want to share their knowledge and secret by writing a book. This knowledge only can be gain by reading books compare to experience knowledge who does not has the detail and specific knowledge same as the books.

In conclusion, books are the best tools for learning compare to experience knowledge. Some people disagree because books was boring and not entertaining. I am sure books will be upgrade and evolve to attract reader such as put in voice or video to the books.

Media violence on children mind

Media violence on children mind
1 pornography
Harm children mind
Cause Unofficial marriage
2 become more aggressive and over imaginative
Copying violent action
Can't differentiate real n fantasy

Since, Internet had become center and mother of media in 21st century. Internet had globalize the world and today internet connects people in every country. Media had brought violent to children mind and it has changed children attitude. Children nowadays are very different for children in past. In my moderate opinions, I believe that this thing happen because of media violent.

Firstly, children are becoming more and more pervert and sexual addicted. Easy access that Internet offered misuse for pornography. Children in such a young age have acknowledged the meanings of sex through porn video. They became more addicted to sex and when it come to some level, it will lead the children to have a sex. That will lead to having a bastard baby and bring shame to their family. Therefore, media had changed children to be sexual addicted.

Secondly, media has made children immature. Children nowadays are aggressive compare to before. Violent shows such as wrestling, action movie and boxing have become a role model to immature children. This perilous to the children and it surrounding. They maybe can hurt they self-due to inexperience and lack of safety in the action their try to copy. Other than that, children nowadays are over imaginative. Other than that, children becomes over imagination. They cannot differentiate between fantasy and reality. This is because media shows a lot of fiction story like superman, Star Wars and batman. Therefore media change children mind into immature and making the wrong decision.

Finally, children need gain knowledge from other ways instead of mass media. There a many knowledge we can gain from outdoor. In addition, mass media are never be the best education source that we can trust. Therefore, parents need to provide the best ways of education other than media.

It is better to rent or buy

It is better to rent or buy

Better to buy
1 House is fix asset and its value increase
2 once u paid off the house. The house is yours and does not need to pay for the rent anymore. The house can pass to your son and grandson saving more money than renting for entire of your life

Living in the globalization era costing us a lot of money. In order for us to survive and fulfill satisfaction, we need to manage our saving prudently. Which consequently lead us to buy the house rather than rent the house. Buying the house is not only saving money but it is bring many advantages to its owner.

Firstly, buying the house is save a lot of money instead of rent it for the rest of your life. Maybe the house costing us a ton of money than paying the rent but there are many available loan we can apply. We rather paying for the loan and bought the house than paying for the rent forever. A survey found than people who buy the house compare to those who rent the house could save about 25% of its money in long-term observation. Buying the house is saving our money and brightening our future son and grandson. The house can be pass to our future generation like our children and grandchild. They will not having a problem to afford a new house to life. Therefore buying house is saving a lot of money than renting the house in a long term.

Secondly, house is a fixed asset and the value rose steadily. Normally a Suburban house can hold more than 100 years and no one can force you from leaving from your own house. In addition, we had the right to do what ever we want with the house whether to upgrade it or change it structure. Meanwhile, the owner will never allow and prohibit us from changing the house. The value of a house is also rose steadily. From our observation, we acknowledge the price of a house increased day by day. Therefore buying a house also profitable. Which the value we can sold the house twice than we buy the house. Moreover, the money we earn can used to afford another prosperous house. Although the house had no longer value and rusty, the house still had the value of a land. Value of a land never fall. Hence, buying a house is a fixed asset and can be profitable than renting a house.

Finally, buying house is better than renting a house. In my modest opinion, buying a house is essential due to high living cost and buying a house will never been a vain. Buying the house could save money and it profitable. Also buying house could bring prosperity and happiness to the owner and his or her family.

Living and working in foreign country bring advantages in terms of character building

TOPIC
Living and working in foreign country bring advantages in terms of character building

Foreigners once only means people who come to other certain country for only tourism purposes. The globalization era had changed people needs from tourism to living and working in the foreign country. Someone tells me it is bring perilous than a benefits. Moreover, I absolutely disagree with the statement. In my modest opinions foreigner had gain many advantages at the foreign country in terms of character builder.

Firstly, our self-esteem will be improve.  Self-esteem is actually about motivation and self-confidence. Living and working especially studying far from family and friends are difficult to be motivated. Without family and friend to encourage, give opinions also motivate our self would be perilous and disastrous to our sentimental.  Therefore, foreigner will able to self-motivate that could not and will not we get from our hometown. It is also boost their self-confidence. In order to communicate and cope with the culture in a foreign country they need to have a large amount of confident. The ability to socializing, approach and interact to all different type of people with confidence is only can obtain by living in foreign country. Therefore, living and working in foreign country will absolutely boost our self-esteem.

Secondly, we will be more open minded in every perspective. Living in foreign country we will be more expose to different type of culture and traditions. Accepting and respect other people believe and religion are only available if we are living in overseas. For instance, we should respect and tolerant to their tradition even though it is against our believe.it would be disrespectful and offended if we come to other people country than complaining and judging about their tradition and culture. We also will be more flexible and tolerate in other people differences. Flexible and tolerate means that accepting also acknowledged their tradition or culture of the country. In our hometown, we can only found one type of culture and tradition compare to other country. Therefore, we could be more open minded to accepting their culture and tradition.

In conclusion, living in foreign country will bring many advantages in term of character building. It is changing our integrity to better perspective. We could be more open minded and boost our self-esteem. Only can obtain in foreign country

Limo’s annual car sales in 2012

Limo’s annual car sales in 2012
The line chart shows the number of two different type of limo sales in month on 2012. Whereby the table below shows the price of petrol in RM and all four quarter in 2012.  In general, the increase of petrol price effected the sales of 2000cc cars in 2012 however; there was a rise demand on 1300cc cars due to the decrease sales of 2000cc cars.
Sales of 2000cc cars rose from 4500 to the highest 5000 units from January to March. It dropped drastically to 2000 units in June. The increase in petrol price for the corresponding period from RM2 to RM2.50 may have caused the dramatic drop in sales of 2000cc cars.
However, its sales climbed steadily from June to September, from 2000 to 3000 units respectively. Sales then remained constant at 3000 units until December. This trend might due to the fell in petrol price from third quarter to fourth quarter, from RM 2.30 to RM2.20.
1300cc cars sales decreased from 3000 to the lowest 2000 units from January to March then climbed significantly to 6000 units in August. Sales of 1300cc cars peaked in October at 6500 units and reach a plateau until December. The steady increase sales in 1300cc cars could be due to the drop in the demands of 2000cc for the corresponding period, result of petrol increase.
In conclusion, the unstable price of petrol affected the sales of 2000cc cars in 2012. The irregular price did not affect the sales of 1300cc cars in 2012

Tertiary education determines a person’s success in life

Sample essay: partial agreement
Question
“Tertiary education determines a person’s success in life”
Suggested answer
In this globalised world, tertiary education is believe to be prerequisite and ticket to a better future. Student and working adult alike have always dreamed about graduation from university and enjoying the privilege of better return and perks. This has caused many pursue university education, believing that it guarantees a more promising life. I partially agree that tertiary education determines a person’s success in life. This is because tertiary education contributes to success, our determination; personal interest and goal in life also have irrefutable impact on our achievement.
Firstly, tertiary education alone without the determination to press in toward achieving our goals in life may not be sufficient to steer us toward. Without doubt, that persistence is akin to keep the oil lamp lit. Without a clear vision of what we want to be and do, university education will just go down the drain as some graduates have been known to refuse employment due to their easy going attitudes and their plain idleness that makes them lethargic in their pursuit foe a better life. One may argue that some successful figure like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs may be colleges’ dropout but they made in life. However, most of us forget that these two geniuses had strong determination and unique gift that they knew they could embark on. Proven that they are among those who contributed to the advancement of technology, which has made life easier than ever. Although university education does, to an extent, determine a person’s success in life as it enable one to discover interest, chart his future and equip oneself with specialised skill to secure a permanent job, one’s determination to succeed is one undeniably superior prerequisite for a successful life.
Secondly, personal interest also matters more than just the idea securing a university degree. The saying that man shall not live by bread alone is relevant for all times. The knowledge one acquires during his studies allows him to map out his own future. Abraham Lincoln, despite coming from a poor and humble family, rose from a simple country boy to be brilliant lawyer and then president of the United States. He accomplished all this not just through his hard work and struggle but also his strong education knowledge background. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs left college when they found that tertiary education was uninspiring and a waste of precious time. Instead, they took courageous step quitting collage and pursuing their interest. They proved that personal interest help realise their dreams in doing what they love the most and could best deliver. Their success stunned their lectures who later commended them for generating easier dissemination of information and communication. Indeed, their success has become the talk of the town for many decades and even today, they are highly honoured for their persistence and hard work, derived from their strong personal interest in computers and drive to prove themselves.

TV ADVERTISING TODAY IS HARMFUL FOR YOUNG CHILDREN (DISAGREE)

MUET PAPER 4 ESSAY
EXAMPLE ESSAY
TV ADVERTISING TODAY IS HARMFUL FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

Advertisements are now considered an essential tool to disseminate information and spread advertising opportunities to different group of people through print noticed and other electronic media such as via television (TV), radio, social media and others. it is unquestionable that advertising has become very much a part of modern life today. In almost everything we do, we are constantly bombarded by advertising. Its is hard to escape from the influence of advertisements. Teenagers and young adults are becoming easy prey as they are quite vulnerable to the advertisements that they exposed to. However, I strongly believe that today television does not effect young children's growth.  In fact, advertising has helped in their physical and mental development. Poor parenting is to blame and not advertisement itself whereby parents must train and educate children about healthy eating habits, smart consumerism ethics and product awareness.
First and foremost, parents must educate their children on healthy eating habits. Poor parenting techniques are to blame for children's bad eating habits. Children's inclination to eating more junk food and fast food at regular interval has become a norm, even with their parent's consent.Television advertisements may have influence over children choice of food as they easily captivated by advertisements that promotes various food item that are usually detrimental to health as they contain colouring and ingredients  that can trigger health risk if over consumed. For instance, young children do not mind consuming burger stuffed with their favourite sausage and mayonnaise or thousand island cream. Despite, this influence has come from television advertisements captivated children to unhealthy food habits. This is especially, when children sit watch television all by themselves without monitor by their parents. This aggravates as they get to be easily influence by most of the advertisements they watch. Nevertheless, parents must not forget taht it is their duty to educate their children on healthy eating, healthy living and  practise a good eating habits by set good examples so that their children can emulate then from an early age and instil within themselves the important and awareness of consuming healthy food. They will then reap the harvest of enjoying a better quality of life by consumption of healthier and nutritious food. Healthy eating also mean healthy living ahead. Health is wealth.
Secondly, parents should also educate their children on smart consumerism as this helps protect children from captivated in television advertisements. Advertisements have, in many ways, promoted products that seemingly assure healthy living condition. In reality, most product that are advertised have their own propaganda of capturing market pie with wide range of consumer products. Children, being children need to be taught how to optimize the value of money they spend. Parents must always involve their children when shopping and this will tremendously reinforce smart shopping and consumerism practices. One is to teach them to prepare a shopping list before actual shopping is done.   This will help reduce the tendency and probability of unnecessary purchases that may just burn a deep holes in one pocket. the temptation to put everything into the cart is always at play and being young and naive, children have the tendency of buying everything that please their eyes. although,at time they can be allowed to splurge on their food and toys, they should know that their have consumer rights to bargain for and receive quality products as advertised. Hence, equipping with necessary knowledge will keep them well informed and not being easy prey to unscrupulous business proprietors

BENEFITS OF TOURISM
“TOURISM IS BOON TO MALAYSIA” WHAT IS YOUR OPNION
The tourism industry is fast becoming a booming industry, especially in the third world countries. These countries offer more natural and scenic enviroment that develop countries cannot really present because of industrialisation. Malaysia has benifited much from tourism whereby many employment opportunities have been created. It is indeed a boon to the economy of the country. This has immensely improved the earnings and standard of living among those directly involved in this industry. Tourism is more than travelling as it can bring economic and social  benefits whereby it promotes racial unity and harmony, creates higher level of health awareness and generates greater income to those participanting in this industry.
Fistly, tourism promotes racial unity and harmony to local tourism. Being a multiple racial country consist different  races sch as malays, chinese, indians, kadazans, ibans and other minority groups have to learnt live together. Despite our diverse differences in our ways of live, we have lived in peace and harmony, remained united and strong. The ability to work together strenghtens our diversity. This attachment has made tourism in Malaysia a wonder to foreigners, especially our diverse culture and practices. Local tourism has encounraged Malaysians to enrich our understanding of the local practices. A visit to a long house or Harvest Festival celebration amongs sabahans will futher develop the sucess of our tourism. Both local and foreign visitors get to learn, exchange ideas and understand the unique lifestyle of the people. Hence, tourism bridges the difference and promotes a more meaningful sencse of unity among the different races.
Secondly, tourism  promotes a greater awareness of hygiene and health service. Malysia, noted for its filthy restroom, needs to immediately address the menace if it wishes to remain competitive in the industry. Cleaniness is our priority if we want tourism become our main sourceof income. In addressingthe banes of Malaysian toilet among the local and foreigners alike, both goverment and corporate  sectors should work together towards providing a better and a conducive enviroments for tourism to thrive in this industry. The needs for a better and cleaner toilets, parks, towns, heritage sites and eateries should be taken seriously before boast itself of being a healthcare centre in the region. Certainly, this will improve the quality of life of all stakeholders  in this field apart from boosting the image of Malaysia internationally especially among foreigners. Public health and wallness will be improved due to the cooperation between goverment and non-goverment sectors maintain the cleaniness and hygiene in the country.

Thirdly, tourism brings in lucrative revenues to our nation. Both local and foreigner tourism bring benefits to our economy. Goverment and corporate sectors should emphasis and enrich local tourism though promotes through television, newspaper and etc also not encouraged and prevent  local people from sign up to foreign tourism because our money will flow to other countries but if local people choose our money flow in the country and avoid our money currency to fall. Whereas foreigner tourism will increase our money currency by foreign tourist spent their money in their travels in Malaysia that will increase our money currency. It also increase income for thus who participant in tourism industry and created more employment opportunities to our local people and decrease our unemployment in malaysia. Indeed tourism brings revenues that increase our economy and decrease local people living cost in the country.
